Brief: We were engaged to create a culture video which captured the essence of empathic customer service, for the nationwide rollout of Qantas Club lounges as part of the new Accor / Qantas partnership. The idea was to inspire staff who were undergoing a cultural training program called “Peoplology – The art of human connection”. This culture program empowered staff to empathise with customers and each other in their everyday work. Working with over 40 actors and extras, we created a seamless ‘one-take’ narrative around the inner monologue of people present in the lounge. Seen in this context, the viewer immediately “sees more” behind each person, allowing human connection on a more meaningful level.

Results: Following the rollout of this video in conjuction with training programs to Accor lounge staff across the country, service levels in airport lounges were dramatically increased.
